Yesterday night has taken place the 60th of the Grammy Awards. I haven’t seen it but I know that Bruno Mars won a lot of Grammys, bravo! (I like Bruno Mars)

Anyways, I choose my favourite looks from the ceremony and from the afterparty.
Curious about Grammy Awards 2018 fashion moments? Take a look at the gallery below.

Spring and summer are coming and I wanted to show you the trends we saw last year on the catwalks of New York, London, Paris and Milan.

For Balenciaga, Christian Dior, N°21, Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney and Versace say that this is the year of leopard-skin. Chloé, Mugler and Salvatore Ferragamo, instead, bet on snake’s weave. Prada and Cavalli prefer tigerskin.

New and original, to join more items of clothing in one; it’s perfect when we want to wear a lot of clothes and we can’t decide! We have to thank Alexander Wang, Céline and Gabriele Colangelo for this idea.

One of the pattens that most reminds me of winter comes in spring and summer with Alexander McQueen, Céline, Miu Miu, Hermès, Fendi and Marni.

Calvin Klein, Céline, Erdem, Loewe, Nina Ricci and Paco Rabanne are going to make you swing with their long and colourful fringes. Shorter but amazing in the same way are the Acne Studio’s and Marco De Vincenzo’s one.

SHINE!” is what Alberta Ferretti, Blumarine, Balmain, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, N°21, Paco Rabanne, Saint Laurent are saying to us. Chloé, Maison Margiela and Missoni bet on lurex;  Dolce & Gabbana, Marco De Vincenzo and Tom Ford opt for millions of crystals; Coach 1941, Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini and Valentino have chosenn glitter fabrics!

Stains are the seasons trends for Chanel, Calvin Klein, Miu Miu, MSGM e Salvatore Ferragamo.

If you live in a rainy place you don’t have to worry. Alberta Ferretti, Calvin Klein, Isabel Marant and Sportmax have found a cute and lightweight solution. Balenciaga, Fenty x Puma and Marc Jacobs, instead, have opted for a more technic version. Chanel, Balmain e Valentino have opted for a transparent and super chich PVC.

Alberta Ferretti, Céline, Maison Margiela, Moncler Gamme Rouge, Moschino, N°21, Nina Ricci, Proenza Schouler, Rodarte and Salvatore Ferragamo loved this for SS 2017/2018 and still love them.My favourites ones are the one of Saint Laurent that showed us amazing outfits in an amazing location.

Printings head to toe:
Blugirl, Balmain, Dolce & Gabbana, Hermes, Prada, Aquilano.Rimondi, Fendi, Gucci and Max Mara have chosen to use printings for all, from clothing to accessories. Balenciaga wins the award for the originality thanks to her prints with euros and dollars. The award for the beauty goes to… Versace with its amazing printings from Donatella’s archive.

Blumarine, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Helmut Lang, Maison Margiela, Missoni, Paco Rabanne, Sonia Rykiel, Calvin Klein and Miu Miu want us to be super sexy. This year you won’t have to be ready for the bikiniseason, but for the trasparecy one.

This week I finished watching Stranger Things. I loved it! I loved the story, the characters, the actors and last but not least their outfits! I always loved ’80s style and I loved seeing it on a modern tv series. Talking about the series, although I never love the sci-fi I fell in love with this series and I finished it in two weeks, more or less; the story is so good and it keeps you on the screen and it has that bit of romance that’s always appreciated (but not too much because it’s in the background). I’m looking forward seeing next season!

Anyway I loved almost all their outfits, especially Billy’s (Drace Montgomery) and Nancy’s (Natalia Dyer) one, and I want to show you some of them:

P.S.: If Stranger Things’ producers are looking for an actress here I am!

I always loved combat boots and now they are finally back!
They are one of the coolest accessories this season but when you think how to wear them you might have some doubts because, if you take them singularly, they aren’t the most feminine things in the word and they might seem difficult to wear.

Here you are some (of my favourite) ways to wear combat boots and be super cool:

These Golden Globes were really unusual. Why? Because (almost) all the celebrities on the red carpet were dressed in black for a worthy reason: they want to protest sexual harassment and raise awareness for Time’s Up. Some of them explained why they went all-noir for the awards show.

Here you are some of my favourites messages:

Meryl Streep: “I think people are aware now of a power imbalance and it’s something that leads to abuse, it has led to abuse in our own industry. We want to fix that and we feel emboldened in a thick black line dividing then from now.”

Debra Messing: “I am wearing black to thank and honour all of the brave whistleblowers who came forward, shared their stories of harassment, assault, and discrimination. I’m wearing black to, to stand in solidarity with my sisters all over the globe and I’m here to celebrate the rollout of this incredible initiative Time’s Up. We want diversity, we want intersectional gender parity, equal pay. I was so shocked to hear that E! doesn’t believe in paying their female co-hosts the same as their male co-hosts. I miss Cat Sadler. So we stand with her. That’s something that can change tomorrow you know, we want people to start having this conversation that women are just as valuable as men.”

Kerry Washington: “The reason we’re here, the reason we didn’t just stay home is that we feel we shouldn’t have to sit out the night, give up our seats at the table, our voice in this industry because of bad behaviour that wasn’t ours. We get to be here to celebrate each other and support each other and stand in joy and solidarity and say we are looking out for anybody who feels marginalized in the workplace, whether you’re a woman or man, because of your sexual orientation, age, race, gender, we’re here to support you. Which is part of the reason why we’ve formed the legal defense fund, which has already raised $15 million, 60 countries, all 50 states and Puerto Rico, people have just been donating because the legal defense fund is to go to people who have faced assault or prejudice or abuse in the workplace and don’t have access to legal representation. So we’re committed to making a change not just in our industry, but every industry.”

Katherine Langford: “What we’re doing is supporting work that’s already been done by so many people for such a long period of time, but tonight is special for the Time’s Up movement, which is supporting equality not just for women but also for men and all non-binary people across every industry. And the reason we’re wearing black is to show solidarity with everyone.”

One word: INSPIRING!

Anyways, here you are my favourite red carpet looks:

Tomorrow will be last day of my holidays so my routine will start again: have breakfast, go to school, have lunch, study, do a bit of sport, have dinner, go to bed and repeat. I just want to make some changes for better, here you are my 2018 resolutions (who knows.. you might take the cue from mine!)

  1. Exercise more, maybe with a workout buddy.
  2. Read more books: I have a long list of books, 15 I think, and I don’t find some time to read them… My goal at the moment is reading one book every month but I hope I’ll read more than one.
  3. Trave more: I love travelling… I love discovering new things, new places, visiting museums,  meet new people and learn from their stories. In 2017 I couldn’t do it for a lot of reasons but this year I want to remedy!
  4. Work on the blog.
  5. Save money… Maybe saving 100 euros every month I could travel more ;)!
  6. Clean my closet every two months. Why? I have too many clothes and there’s always such a chaos so I want to try to keep it orderly.
  7. Show to myself I can do everything I want!

I’d love to hear your 2018 resolutions, tell me if yours are similar to mine.

Kisses, Lucrezia.
